I usually like to thank people individually for the watches and favorites and so on and so forth, but they've kinda piled up and there are so many of them, so I thought I'd just say thank you to everyone. If I haven't gotten a chance to thank you yet, thanks a lot, I appreciate it.
I've looked at many fellow artists sketchbooks, and blogs, and deviantart galleries, and so on and so forth, and I notice that more than anything else people like to draw sexy wimmenz, typically scantily clad or in their birthday suits. It seems to be the most popular art subject in the world of all time. Why shouldn't it be? They are the fairer sex after all, and their form just seems to lend itself to art. Women come in all shapes and sizes, and there are so many ways to draw them and pose them and render them, and so on and so forth. From Frank Frazetta to Audrey Kawasaki, there are so many equally beautiful ways to approach it.

SO... I've started a tumblr blog, called.... *drum roll please*.... "Boobies n' Booties". Yup. This blog will be a place to collect our tributes to the beauty that is the female form and share them with others. Hopefully this will be fun, and we'll be exposed to some new artists and inspiration, and if it grows, who knows it might become another outlet for exposure.

If you've got some naked lady art laying around I'd love if you submitted some. Here goes the
Post a picture of yourself (preferably a hi-res one) and I will use it as reference for art. How's that sound?
So I know I was like "I'm going to be posting more stuff!" then I didn't at all, haha. It's just... life. I'm so sidetracked. Too busy worrying about all that grown up stuff that grown ups have to worry about. It's really hard for me to be creative when I'm stressed out. I have tried to work on stuff, but it comes out shitty so I just give up on it, very frustrating. What else can you do but soldier on though right? So, look forward to more stuff from me in the future, I'm going to try to be more productive.

Oh, also I'd like to thank everyone who supported me in the 10k. I didn't make the cut this year, but the shirt WILL print soon, and I can't wait to see it in the flesh, it's my favorite thing I've done t-shirt wise. Also, I'll announce who won the comment contest when the shirt prints. Thanks again everyone. Next year I've got my eye on that 10k ;) haha.

THE 10K IS HERE AGAIN!!! I was a runner up last year, and this year I'm going for the gold!

My entry for this year? None other then probably my most popular design to date... eventhough it never printed, so I figured this is my chance to finally get this sucker on a shirt, so I redesigned it, made it bigger, threw in a subtle background, and I think it's one of the most badass shirts ever in the history of shirts in this universe and possibly other universes yet undiscovered!!!

Please stop by and vote!!!

I'm also running a contest to give away 3 DBH shirt and a signed print of Cebearus!

What do you have to do? Easy, BEST COMMENT WINS!!!
All you have to do is leave a funny comment on the design about how awesome it is (you know, like in the style of 3 Wolf Moon, or a Chuck Norris quote). Examples:

"A cerbearus shirt will give you the strength, speed, agility and wisdom of a Greek demigod able to conquer any foe."

"A cerbearus shirt is both fire and bullet proof."

"You can survive in the vacuum of space wearing nothing but a cerbearus shirt."

"The only way to best Chuck Norris in an arm wrestling match is to wrap a cerbearus shirt around your bicep."

"A cerbearus shirt is the only other substance besides kryptonite that can kill Superman."

So sign up, vote, comment. Thanks!
Of course you didn't, but HEY! How's it goin?! Haha, haven't been on DA for a minute, been kinda busy. Since I've been gone I've become a forum moderator at, so I spend a lot of my time on the net over there making sure the kids play nice. I'm going to get back into posting on DA though, I'll upload some stuff you've missed out on in my absence, and I've got some more cool stuff coming up too.

That's all really. Oh wait, no it isn't. It's that time of the year again. The DBH 10k is kicking back into gear, and I do plan on entering again. If you remember last year I managed to take the last runner up spot, in no small part due to you guys, I want to thank everyone who voted back then again for your support. I'm going to need it again, haha. Hopefully I can make it further then 5th place this year. We'll see. So look forward to that piece in the near future.

Okay, now THAT'S all, really. For real this time. Oh wait... no, nevermind. That was all.

My Lyrics are Bottomless

If you missed these designs when they were up at Teefury, now you're able to get em, and on alternate colors nonetheless! Enjoy.…
Thinking about doing them. Something simple though, like portraits, because that's something I don't have to think too much about, finish relatively quickly, and still have it be quality. Would anybody be into that? I'm not sure about prices yet.
...go check out the person's page and notice that all their other favs are totally different from your art? Like it's all.... human anime versions of Spongebob and Patrick making out, and then there's your totally unrelated art right next to it? Haha. Kinda strange. Not that I mind. Just makes me wonder.
Have you seen the superbowl spot yet? I'm a huge fan of the show, it's one of my all-time favorite cartoons, and I'm not going to lie the action and effects in the trailer look really exciting, but I will not buy a ticket to see this movie. I don't think I could support it in good conscience, because frankly I think it's a bit racist. If you aren't familiar with the show, it draws upon Asian culture and mythology and the characters are intended to be Asian (the creators said so themselves). However when it came time to cast the film they put white actors in the lead roles. Now, the messed up part is that it's not like they just chose white actors because they were best who auditioned, they explicitly asked for white actors for the roles of the protagonists. I don't know what other way to interpret that other than Hollywood's usual inclination to think that Asians aren't suited to carry a movie unless they're Jackie Chan or Jet Li.

Just like when they cast Jim Sturgess in 21 to play the role of a guy that was Asian in real life. Why couldn't they have given that role to a John Cho or some other young Asian actor? To be even further messed up, when casting the villains they were looking specifically for people of color. So, they didn't want any minorities playing the heroes, but it was totally fine to make them villains. Pretty shitty I think. I'm not one of these people that thinks everything is racist all the time, I think people tend to overreact. But this, I can't see how it is not prejudiced. So, personally no matter how good the trailer looks you can count me out.

Black people have gotten to the point where they can lead movies and be big box office draws, but it took a long while, they weren't seen as viable commercial stars either. Hopefully it won't be too long until Asians (and every other ethnicity) can have the same opportunities as any white actor, or at least be considered when they're casting a person that's SUPPOSED to be their ethnicity.

Anyway, your thoughts are welcome whether you agree or not.
So I got one of these formspring things, to the uninitiated, you can ask me anything anonymously. I'll give an honest answer to almost anything, doesn't have to be about art.
Okay what is the deal with drawing characters as lions or horses? I really really have no idea what that is about, haha, but it kinda creeps me out. Like where did that come from? Are there names for that type of thing? I can get all that weird porn/homoerotic fanart, kids are horny. The horse/lion thing though is just like the most bizarre thing ever to me.
I put it up on Teextile for voting, hopefully it gets printed again, I know a lot of people missed out on the 24hr Teefury sale and really wanted… votes appreciated.

I'm very happy to say that "Lyrics are Bottomless" has been my most profitable shirt yet. Earned even more than the $1,000 I made for being a runner up in the DBH10k. So, that's kinda my Christmas present, haha. Thanks everyone who bought it, hope the print came out great, can't wait to see it in person myself. Make sure to take a pic of yourself in the shirt and send it to me. I think I may do some kind of giveaway for best picture. We'll see. Anyway, thanks again. 2009 has been a great year for me, I decided I was going to try designing t-shirts earlier this year and it couldn't have gone any better. 6 prints under my belt, and since losing my job the few thousand dollars I've made off of them have really helped me stay afloat. So here's hoping 2010 will be even better, and that I'll be able to make a name for myself before I die in the cataclysm that will be 2012 (unless I can somehow find John Cusack and have him save me).

Happy Holidays everyone.

$9 Go get it! Won't be around after 9:00 December 24th.
So, just got an e-mail that my FOTC themed shirt is slated to go up at Teefury on the 24th of this month. So be sure to put away $9 (plus shipping) if you intend to grab that!
Haha, already breaking my promise. I hate to make excuses, but I promise I haven't just been slacking off. I've had my little brother over, he's 6, he requires a lot of attention obviously, and I also just haven't been feeling that well recently. Not sick, just tired, and headachey. Probably not drinking enough water and getting enough sleep. I don't know who's actually keeping up with my blog or anything, but if you are I'll have some more stuff up by the weekend to make up for the lack of productivity. I've got lots of ideas ready to execute.

Keep an eye out because I should have a couple shirts coming out in a matter of weeks. Really excited about them. ALSO, you may see the return of some of my popular (yet failed) designs getting a makeover and trying my luck with them again.

DBH and Teefury have been very good to me, and I plan to keep on subbing with them because I like both of those places and what they're about, but I'm going to try to also broaden my horizons and try my luck at more varied places. Hopefully other places will be as receptive to my work.

That's my update for now, hope you like the things are that to come.

Whether it be about my art, or t-shirt design, or my life, or random stuff. Whatever, ask away and I'll do my best to answer.
Just curious. What would you say were the best moments of your life so far? I'll write about a few of mine later.
I find it kind of bizarre that I'm making a living mostly through contests right now. Next time a chick asks me what I do, I'll be like "I fucking win, that's what I do." cut to me banging that chick. Then after she's like "Who ARE you?" with awe in her eyes. I take a drag of my cigarette and say "Here's some cab fare. You can let yourself out." Then flashback to the war, my best friend dies in my arms, and I look towards the sky and I'm like... "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
